Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and organized Senior Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This pivotal role involves managing front desk operations, providing exceptional patient and client service, and supporting administrative functions within a busy dental office. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, familiarity with electronic records, and a background in dental environments. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a professional team dedicated to delivering quality care and efficient administrative support.

Duties
Greet patients and visitors professionally, ensuring a welcoming environment
Manage appointment scheduling using electronic medical records systems such as Tracker
Verify patient information and insurance details accurately
Handle phone inquiries, direct calls appropriately, and relay messages promptly
Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes
Maintain accurate documentation of patient records and administrative data
Support human resources functions including onboarding and staff scheduling when needed
Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Manage billing and coding procedures in coordination with healthcare providers
Oversee front desk supplies and ensure the reception area remains organized and professional
Requirements
Proven experience in dental office administration, preferably with tracker or similar systems
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and dental procedures
Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable
Familiarity with human resources processes such as onboarding, scheduling, and staff coordination
Experience with electronic dental records management and billing procedures
Background in dental practice environments is a plus
Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of budgeting processes related to healthcare administration is advantageous
Prior experience in nursing or healthcare support roles is beneficial

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
