Private Specialty Dental Practice Seeking a Dental Assistant Floater Position in both Clinical and Administrative Settings
We are a private specialty dental practice looking to add another member to our close-knit office.
We are seeking a Dental Assistant Floater, who is passionate about dentistry, experienced and knowledgeable within the field, and, who is looking to split their experience in both settings.
The Dental Assistant floater is a crucial role in our dental practice. The floater, by being versatile and capable of performing multiple roles, ensures that both patient care and administrative support are achieved effectively and smoothly. This requires the floater to adapt to the needs of the team by way of switching between Front and clinical needs as they present. The position requires forward thinking, strong communication skills, adaptability, and a strong understanding of dental office operations in order to effectively support the team and patients.

Responsibilities would include
· Proper breakdown and set up of operatories while adhering to infection control procedures
· Cleaning, organizing, and instrument sterilization
· Conducting post op visits which may include taking x rays or photos
· Chairside Assisting as needed
· Assisting with various front office administrative tasks
· Preparing consent forms and surgical worksheets
Qualifications
· Dental experience or training required
· X-ray certification required
· Strong work ethic, attention to detail and willingness to help where needed
· Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team environment
· Dependable and reliable
· Strong communication skills
· Flexible and adaptable
