We are seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and growth-minded Surgical Dental Assistant to join our team. Previous periodontal surgical experience is preferred, but we are happy to train the right person who brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to learn.

What You'll Do: As a Surgical Dental Assistant, you'll play a critical role in delivering an outstanding patient experience and supporting our doctors during advanced perio procedures.
Responsibilities include:
Preparing treatment rooms and surgical suites
Welcoming and preparing patients for treatment
Collecting medical histories and assisting with patient intake
Chairside assisting during consultations, surgeries, and follow-up appointments
Monitoring and documenting procedures, including sedation cases
Educating patients on pre-operative and post-operative care
Taking digital radiographs and CBCT scans
Sterilizing and maintaining instruments and equipment
Assisting with PRF preparation and blood processing (training provided)
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
Coordinating communication with referring dental offices
Supporting overall clinical efficiency and patient flow
What We're Looking For:
Required
Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
Team-first mentality
Commitment to exceptional patient care
Preferred:
Surgical assisting experience
X-Ray Certification
CPR Certification
DAANCE Certification (or interest in obtaining)
Phlebotomy experience
Experience with dental implants, sedation, or specialty dentistry
Compensation & Benefits
$24–$30+ per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
