Dental Surgical Assistant in New Bedford

We are looking for an experienced dental surgical assistant at our modern periodontic center in New Bedford, MA.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of full-time equivalent assisting experience in a periodontist and/or oral surgery office (potentially could include experience with another implant & surgery heavy dental office).

Full time is preferred, but we would consider part-time.

Job Requirements

- Must have valid dental assistant and x-ray license

- Should have deep experience assisting with complex surgeries.

- Must be proficient at taking x-rays.

- CBCT cat scan experience is a plus.

- Digital impression technology is a plus.

- IV Sedation / anesthesia experience / DAANCE certificate a plus.

- Phlebotomy training / experience is a plus.

General Job Requirements

- Must be a professional and understand the importance of HIPPA / medical confidentiality.

- Must be very comfortable with technology in general.

- Eaglesoft experience is a plus.
