Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Technician Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and willingness to learn dental technology. As a Dental Technician Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the process of preparing and fabrication of dental prosthetics using advanced techniques and materials, ensuring that each piece meets the specifications set by our dental professionals.
Responsibilities
Assisting in the fabrication of dental restorations such as pouring impressions, trimming and articulating models and various other duties.
Collaborate with dentists to understand patient needs and ensure accurate specifications for each restoration.
Utilize laboratory equipment to create precise and aesthetically pleasing dental products.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in dental ceramics to enhance product quality.
Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards.
Experience
Previous experience in a dental office or laboratory setting is an asset but not required.
Proficiency in CAD software is highly desirable but not required.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial.
Experience in dental assisting can provide valuable insights into patient care and needs.
