Dental Technician-Gold Man

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Crown & Bridge Fitting / Finishing Dental Technician to join our dynamic dental laboratory team at Astro Dental Art.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the precise fitting, adjustment, finishing, and quality control of crown and bridge restorations including Gold, PFM, Zirconia, and IPS e.max. This role requires strong technical skills, a deep understanding of dental materials and occlusion, and the ability to ensure high-quality restorations that meet both laboratory and clinical standards.

Duties4
Inspect, adjust, and refine the fit of crown and bridge restorations (Gold, PFM, Zirconia, IPS e.max)
Verify margins, internal fit, proximal contacts, and occlusion on working models and articulators
Perform internal adjustments, contouring, finishing, and polishing prior to porcelain application or final delivery
Conduct quality control checks to ensure restorations meet laboratory and clinical standards
Identify and resolve fit discrepancies in collaboration with CAD/CAM, metal, and ceramic departments
Interpret prescriptions and technical instructions from dentists
Maintain consistent production quality and turnaround efficiency
Follow laboratory protocols, safety standards, and quality assurance procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Experience
Minimum 2+ years dental laboratory experience in Crown & Bridge preferred
Strong knowledge of crown and bridge materials including Gold, PFM, Zirconia, and e.max
Understanding of occlusion, articulation, and crown seating principles
Experience with rotary instruments and dental lab adjustment techniques
Familiarity with dental terminology and laboratory workflows
High attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$40.00 per hour
