Dental Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dental Technician to join our dental laboratory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality dental prosthetics and restorations, ensuring they meet precise specifications and patient needs. Prior experience in dental laboratories or related fields is preferred, along with a strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology.

Duties
Fabricate dental prostheses, crowns, bridges, dentures, and other restorations based on detailed prescriptions and specifications
Utilize CAD software to design dental components with precision
Prepare models, wax-ups, and molds for casting and finishing processes
Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure accurate fit and function of dental appliances
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a clean, organized workspace
Follow safety protocols and quality standards throughout the fabrication process
Keep detailed records of work performed and materials used for each case
Requirements
Proven experience in a dental laboratory setting or related laboratory experience
Familiarity with CAD software used in dental design applications
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Experience with dental assisting or working within a dental office environment is a plus
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship skills
Ability to interpret dental prescriptions accurately
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and proper handling of materials
