Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our dental practice who is willing to travel. The ideal candidate will serve as a vital link between patients and the clinical team, managing patient scheduling, treatment plans, insurance verifications, and medical documentation. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency with dental and medical office systems, and a strong understanding of dental terminology and insurance processes. The Dental Treatment Coordinator will ensure smooth office operations while delivering exceptional patient service and administrative support.
Responsibilities
Coordinate patient appointments, treatment plans, and follow-up schedules efficiently using Open Dental.
Verify insurance coverage,
Review and update patient medical records, ensuring accuracy in documentation.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, financial arrangements, and insurance benefits via phone and in-person interactions.
Manage front desk duties including multi-line phone systems, patient check-in/out, appointment scheduling, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
Assist with insurance verification processes.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA standards.
Provide exceptional customer service to patients by demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and clear communication skills.
Skills
Proficiency with dental practice management software.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security.
Prior dental experience.
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
