Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Treatment Coordinator with proven dental office experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for booking patients, coordinating appointments, and ensuring seamless communication between patients and the dental team. This role requires strong organizational skills, familiarity with dental and medical terminology, and proficiency with electronic health records systems such as Cleardent. This role will be a full time position.
Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for patients regarding treatment plans, financial arrangements, and scheduling
Primarily booking Hygiene Patients
Explain treatment options clearly and effectively to patients, ensuring understanding of procedures and costs
Coordinate appointment scheduling to optimize patient flow and practice productivity
Manage patient records using electronic medical records systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Maintain knowledge of current dental procedures, medical terminology, and hospital or acute care practices relevant to patient care
Proven experience working in a dental office environment is required; experience in medical or hospital settings is a plus
Proficiency with Cleardent or similar electronic medical record systems
Strong understanding of dental terminology, billing procedures, and insurance processes
Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
