Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized front Desk/ Treatment Coordinator to join our dynamic team in a dental clinic environment. Our office is privately-owned, no chain DSO, female and minority oriented. The ideal candidate will serve as a vital link between patients and the dental team, ensuring that all treatment plans are communicated effectively and that patients receive the highest level of care. This role requires strong clerical skills, familiarity with dental terminology, close on treatment plans, and the ability to navigate insurance verification processes.
Duties
Manage patient scheduling and confirm appointments efficiently using phone systems.
Conduct insurance verification to ensure coverage for treatments and procedures.
Communicate treatment plans clearly to patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical office standards.
Utilize knowledge of ICD-10 codes for proper billing and coding of services rendered.
Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office organization.
Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to ensure seamless patient flow within the clinic.
Provide bilingual support to patients as needed, enhancing communication for non-English speaking individuals.
Set up patient payment plans.
Negotiate any overdue balance to recover payment from patients
Provide red-carpet customer service, swiftly addressing concerns and inquiries with professionalism and poise
Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
Requirements
Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is a Must
AT LEAST 1-2 years experience in dental front desk/ Treatment planning
Proficiency in phone systems and strong communication skills are essential.
Familiarity with dental terminology and dental billing processes is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Knowledge of ICD-10 coding is a plus.
Bilingual candidates are preferred to apply to better serve our diverse patient population. KNOWLEDGE OF SPANISH LANGUAGE IS A MUST.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in clerical tasks are required.

We offer competitive compensation based on experience. Pay: $16.00 to $22.00 plus bonus depending on treatment sold and depending on capabilities & experience.
