Responsibilities
Schedule appointments efficiently using patient management software and confirm upcoming visits to optimize daily operations.
Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and manage patient information securely, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
Assist patients with understanding treatment plans, financial arrangements, and insurance benefits to promote informed decision-making.
Coordinate with staff to ensure timely preparation for procedures and follow-up care.
Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing prompt responses to appointment requests or billing questions while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
Experience
Prior experience working in a medical or dental office setting is required
Presenting treatment plans and handling financial conversations with patients
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel to manage documentation effectively.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly via phone and in person.
Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with privacy laws such as HIPAA.
Efficient typing skills combined with organizational abilities to handle administrative tasks accurately and swiftly.
