Outcome of the Role
Kids Dental Place in Glendale, CA are currently seeking a Dental Treatment Coordinator to establish a parent/patient relationship for proper communication regarding recommended treatment plans. This position will report to the Operations Manager.
This position will be at-will, meaning either the employer or the employee may terminate the employment at any time, with or without cause or prior notice.
Pay range: $19-$27/hr
Job Responsibilities
Facilitate financial discussions with delinquent accounts
Achieve patient conversion results
Assist with phone calls and patient check-out
Understand, monitor, and ensure the smooth implementation of office processes, including but not limited to, scheduling, patient flow, and insurance verification
Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc.
Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children
Job Qualifications
Previous sales experience desired
Previous experience in a dental practice a plus
Ability to multi-task and complete tasks correctly and on time
Knowledge of various insurance plans, manuals, exclusions, and limitations
Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor
Preferred knowledge of Dolphin Database, eCW, Google Docs, scanning functions, and Office, Word, and Excel
Bilingual a plus

Physical Requirements
This position requires full range of body motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk and stand, bend, communicate verbally (both in person and by telephone), use hands repetitively to handle, feel or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment
Work is performed in a standard office environment. This role routinely utilizes standard office equipment.
