About the Role:
Rajal J Patel DDS PA is looking for a motivated and organized Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our growing dental practice in Orange, NJ. In this role, you'll be the bridge between patients and their path to a healthier smile — guiding them through treatment plans, financial options, and scheduling with warmth and professionalism. Responsibilities:
Present and explain dental treatment plans to patients in a clear and compassionate manner
Coordinate patient scheduling to ensure efficient appointment flow and case acceptance
Discuss financial arrangements, payment plans, and insurance coverage with patients
Verify dental insurance benefits and process pre-authorizations as needed
Follow up with patients on pending treatment and outstanding care
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation in dental practice management software
Collaborate closely with dentists and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient experience
Requirements:
Prior experience in a dental office or healthcare coordination role preferred
Familiarity with dental terminology, treatment planning, and insurance billing
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
Proficiency in dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical environment
Bilingual skills a plus, but not required
High school diploma or equivalent required; dental assisting or administrative certification a bonus
