Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pediatric Dental Treatment Planner to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will collaborate closely with pediatric patients, their families, and the clinical team to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each child's unique dental needs. Your expertise in dental terminology, and health information management will ensure accurate documentation and seamless communication across all departments. Duties
Review patient dental records, medical histories, and treatment notes to assist in creating precise and effective care plans for pediatric patients
Coordinate with dental providers to develop detailed treatment strategies that align with clinical assessments and patient needs
Utilize dental terminology, CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) codes, for documentation review and coding accuracy
Verify insurance benefits ensuring proper coverage for pediatric dental procedures
Maintain meticulous records using dental office management software Dentrix , ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
Provide administrative support by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and assisting with patient intake processes
Communicate effectively with patients’ families via phone or in-person to explain treatment plans and answer questions while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
