Duties
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, extractions, and root canals
- Conduct routine check-ups and cleanings
- Diagnose and treat oral diseases and conditions
- Create treatment plans for patients based on their dental needs
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Eaglesoft or Dentrix software
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry
Skills
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
- Familiarity with medical records management and medical terminology
- Ability to operate CAD/CAM systems for dental restorations
- Expertise in infection control procedures and sterilization techniques
- Experience working with pediatric patients and providing child-friendly dental care
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques used in dentistry
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
