Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans.
Perform a wide range of dental procedures such as dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
Utilize dental imaging and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and formulate effective treatment strategies.
Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize patient care efficiency.
Maintain precise medical documentation and update electronic health records using practice management software like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Denticon.
Communicate clearly with patients about diagnoses, treatment options, and post-procedure care to foster understanding and comfort.
Qualifications
Valid state dental license with current certification to practice dentistry.
Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental diagnosis, oral surgery, orthodontics, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and implant placement preferred.
Familiarity with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Denticon.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis standards.
Commitment to infection control practices aligned with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws.
Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach toward patient care and education.
