Job Description
We are seeking a DENTIST to become a part of our team! You will provide direct oversight and dental services for the clients of the organization's dental clinic.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and provide appropriate dental treatment to patients, including regular cleanings, root canals, surgical extractions, implants and cosmetic dentistry
Assist patients’ with determining the most appropriate treatment(s) for their dental needs.
Educate patients on maintaining proper oral health
Carefully document all medications, diagnoses, treatments and consultations
Supervise the work of professional, technical and administrative staff
Conduct initial oral assessments
Prescribe medications as necessary
Knowledgeable of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Demonstrate flexibility, enthusiasm, and willingness to cooperate while working with others in inter-professional care teams with activities including participating in daily huddles
Qualifications:
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS or DMD) and licensed within the State of Texas.
Dentistry Experience - Minimum 1 year paid work experience, but new grads are encouraged to apply
Nitrous Oxide Monitoring Certification
Other certifications as required by state to include: DEA, CPR, PALS.
No sanctions for Medicare, Medicaid, or any licensing board
No recent negative findings on NPDB
Bilingual (English/Spanish), a plus
Working Conditions
The position occasionally requires sitting, standing and bending. Occasional very light lifting, up to 20 pounds or an equivalent weight may be required
Willing to travel/round to the Bellaire and Greenspoint locations.
Employment Benefits:
4 Day Work Week (Monday - Thursday); Participate in one half-day Saturday morning rotation per month.
