Job Summary

Duties
Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations and medical history reviews, utilizing dental terminology and medical imaging techniques.
Deliver a wide range of general dentistry services such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics procedures.
Conduct dental extractions, root canal therapy, and oral surgery procedures with precision and aseptic technique.
Utilize dental software systems like Open Dental for documentation, treatment planning, and medical records management in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Implement infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment to ensure patient safety during all procedures.
Collaborate with dental assistants in four-handed dentistry to optimize workflow efficiency and patient care quality.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment options while addressing their concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Requirements
Valid dental license to practice in the respective state or country.
Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental terminology and medical terminology relevant to oral health.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable.
Familiarity with dental software systems such as Open Dental for charting and record-keeping.
Strong understanding of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and medical imaging procedures.
Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery confidently.
Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment and education tailored to individual needs.
Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and safeguarding patient confidentiality at all times.
