Dentist (Part- or Full-Time)

Dentist (DMD or DDS) Opportunity for US Residents and/or J-1 or H1B eligible candidates
StayWell Health Center is an approved National Health Service Corps site and you may be eligible for up to $55,000 NHSC Loan Repayment with a two-year service committment if approved.

Newly hired Dentists will receive a recruitment incentive up to $5,000 (pro-rated for less than full-time).

StayWell Health Care, Inc., a federally qualified community health center, is looking for a full- or part-time Dentist Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. - no evenings or weekends - to provide comprehensive dental care and treatment to patients.

Some of the responsibilities of this Dentist include:
Provide routine and emergency dental services, including diagnosis and treatment plans, restorative, periodontal, fixed prosthetics, removable prosthetics, endodontics, pediatric, and oral surgery procedures.

Initiate and interpret x-ray and lab studies.

Administer and prescribe anesthetics and medications.

Conduct follow-up patient care; refer patients for specialty care as appropriate
Demonstrate high level of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competency in the practice of dentistry and associated charting requirements.

Utilize computers including Dental Health Record efficiently.

Actively participate in community dental programs.

Exercise professional judgment in the performance of services provided consistent with the organization’s policies and the standards of the dental profession.

Newly hired Dentists will receive a $2,500 recruitment incentive upon successful training and completed credentialing, if they remain in good standing for six (6) consecutive months from their hire date (pro-rated).

Newly hired Dentists will receive a $2,500 retention incentive upon remaining in good standing for twelve (12) consecutive months from their hire date (pro-rated).

Competitive salary commensurate with experience ($159,000-$189,000 annually)
