Duties
Perform general dentistry procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and root canal therapy with precision and care.

Utilize dental software such as Open Dental to document patient records accurately and efficiently.

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review, dental diagnosis, and treatment planning aligned with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.

Execute advanced procedures such as dental implants, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry as needed.

Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and ensure compliance with all healthcare diagnosis standards.

Communicate clearly with patients about diagnoses, treatment options, and post-procedure care to foster trust and understanding.

Collaborate with dental assistants in four-handed dentistry to optimize workflow and patient comfort during procedures.

Keep detailed medical documentation and manage dental fabrication processes for crowns, bridges, or other prosthetic devices.

Stay updated on medical imaging techniques and anatomy knowledge to enhance diagnostic accuracy.

Uphold client communication standards while ensuring confidentiality of medical records in accordance with HIPAA.

Qualifications
Valid state dental license with current certification to practice dentistry.

Proven experience in general dentistry within a dental clinic or office setting; experience with dental office software is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, infection control practices, and healthcare diagnosis procedures.

Proficiency in performing diverse dental procedures including extractions, root canals, implants, orthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry.

Familiarity with dental fabrication techniques and medical imaging technology.

Excellent client communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively.

Ability to adhere to HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws while maintaining meticulous medical documentation.

Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control standards essential for safe practice.
