Diagnose dental conditions accurately using dental terminology and medical imaging tools; develop effective treatment plans aligned with patient needs.
Execute specialized procedures such as orthodontics, oral surgery, dental implants, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry with precision and care.
Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic technique; adhere to HIPAA regulations and state healthcare guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality and safety.
Document all medical records thoroughly in electronic health record systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare diagnosis standards.
Communicate clearly with patients about treatment options, procedures, and post-treatment care to foster trust and understanding.
Collaborate with team members in a four-handed dentistry setup to optimize workflow efficiency and patient comfort.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques; participate in ongoing professional development.
Experience
Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or healthcare setting with a strong background in general dentistry.
Familiarity with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred.
Demonstrated expertise in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, prosthodontics, orthodontics, endodontics, and implant procedures is advantageous.
Knowledge of infection control practices, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge related to oral structures, and medical documentation standards is essential.
Prior experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental fabrication processes, and utilizing medical imaging tools is highly valued.
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
