EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position provides essential dental services to the inmate population and ensures that clinical operations run safely and smoothly. As a Dentist, you will perform the following duties:
Clinical Care: Provide routine dental treatment, perform examinations, diagnose oral diseases, and treat injuries
Treatment Procedures: Perform dental procedures and assist specialists during on-site treatments
Operational Oversight: Supervise daily dental staff activities and ensure proper tool, security, and material controls
Professional Collaboration: Consult with and refer inmate patients to physicians, oral surgeons, or other health professionals as needed
Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of care while supporting a safe and well-organized clinical environment

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break. You will not be required to work evenings, weekends, or on-call duties.
Eligible for full retirement benefits as early as age 55
DEA License renewal and liability insurance is covered by the Commonwealth
Up to 50 hours of additional paid leave for job-related continuing medical education
Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
Salary: Competitive, with potential for yearly incentive payments in addition to your standard salary. (Quality Assurance Payments)
