Job Description
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position provides essential dental services that support the health and well-being of the inmate population. The work ensures consistent, high-quality care and a well-managed dental operation. As a Dentist, you will perform the following duties:
Clinical Care: Perform dental examinations, diagnose oral conditions, and provide needed treatment
Staff Supervision: Oversee daily work of dental staff to maintain smooth and efficient operations
Treatment Support: Assist specialists and carry out related duties when advanced care is required
Safety Compliance: Maintain security, tool control, and safe handling of toxic and caustic materials
Professional Consultation: Refer patients to physicians, surgeons, or other health care professionals when needed

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break. You will not be required to work evenings, weekends, or on-call duties.
Eligible for full retirement benefits as early as age 55
DEA License renewal and liability insurance is covered by the Commonwealth
Up to 50 hours of additional paid leave for job-related continuing medical education
Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
Salary: Competitive, with potential for yearly incentive payments in addition to your standard salary. (Quality Assurance Payments)
