Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants
Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing medical imaging, dental diagnosis techniques, and knowledge of anatomy to develop effective treatment plans
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws by accurately documenting medical records and treatment details
Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, charting, billing, and maintaining detailed patient records
Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and adhere to OSHA standards to ensure patient and staff safety
Communicate clearly with patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, post-operative care instructions, and preventive oral health strategies
Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize workflow efficiency and patient comfort
Stay current with advances in dental technology and techniques through ongoing education and training
Experience
Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or healthcare setting with a strong background in general dentistry
Demonstrated proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix
Hands-on experience performing diverse dental procedures including extractions, root canals, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and implants
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices and experience treating pediatric patients is highly desirable
Familiarity with medical terminology, medical imaging techniques, and healthcare diagnosis processes
Understanding of HIPAA regulations along with state healthcare laws governing medical documentation and patient privacy
Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages while demonstrating empathy and professionalism
