Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dentist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of general dentistry practices, along with specialized expertise in areas such as pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and orthodontics.
Office Features: General Dentisty, Treating Sleep Apnea, Treating TMJD, Cosmetic Dentistry
Office Technology: Planemeca CBCT, Implant Motor, MLS Laser for TMJ treatment, BioPak EMG and jaw tracker, Tek Scan for bite analysis, Electric Motor and air driven handpiece, Surgery Extraction Kit, and so much more.
Hygiene Team: 3 Hygienists.
This role requires a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, accurate diagnosis, and effective treatment planning within a professional and patient-centered environment. The Dentist will be responsible for performing a wide range of dental procedures while ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations and maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient safety.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and dental terminology.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive clinical evaluations and patient needs.
Perform dental procedures such as restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, implants, and oral surgeries with precision and care.
Utilize dental fabrication techniques for crowns, bridges, dentures, and other prosthetic devices.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws.
Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term dental health.
Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a sterile environment during all procedures.
Collaborate effectively with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry to optimize workflow and patient comfort.
Stay current with advancements in dental technology, including Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix software systems, and new treatment modalities.
Ensure compliance with all healthcare diagnosis standards, medical terminology accuracy, and legal requirements related to dental practice.
Requirements
Valid state license to practice dentistry with current certification in good standing.
Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and implantology.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control procedures.
Familiarity with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix; experience with medical imaging is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to perform complex dental procedures including extractions, root canals, implants, and oral surgeries.
Excellent client communication skills to effectively educate patients about treatment options and procedures.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws governing patient privacy and medical documentation.
Experience working within a dental clinic environment or healthcare setting that emphasizes quality patient care and safety standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
