Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic plan for establishing and growing a new dental practice aligned with industry best practices and local regulations
Manage all aspects of clinical operations, including patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of general dentistry services such as dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, implants, and oral surgery
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state healthcare regulations, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
Utilize dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, medical documentation, billing, and record keeping
Build strong patient relationships through effective communication, education on oral health, and personalized care plans
Oversee staff recruitment, training in four-handed dentistry practices, and ongoing team development to ensure high-quality patient care
Implement marketing strategies to attract new patients while maintaining excellent service standards for existing clients
Experience
Proven experience as a practicing dentist with comprehensive knowledge of general dentistry procedures and specialties such as pediatrics, orthodontics, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery
Hands-on experience with dental imaging techniques and medical imaging tools for accurate diagnosis
Familiarity with dental practice management software including Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly preferred
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dental diagnosis and healthcare diagnosis processes
Demonstrated ability to perform dental procedures such as extractions, implants, root canals, prosthodontics fabrication, and pediatric dentistry treatments
Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining a sterile environment
Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients about treatment options effectively
