Job Description
DME/ Medical Office Receptionist/ Insurance Verification Specialist
Mobility Prosthetic and Orthotic Services LLC. a fast-growing Prosthetics / Orthotics Patient Care company is looking for a dynamic, hard working, pleasant person for full time front office job. Duties include but not limited to patient registration, insurance verification, scanning, Insurance authorization, scheduling patients, ordering devices, WIP control, securing prescriptions/ Letter of medical necessity, interaction with physician and therapists via nursing homes and hospitals and any other work related to the job.
Ability to work well under pressure, works well independently, great time management skills and works well with others in a team environment.
Must have insurance knowledge, good computer knowledge, Microsoft Word, Excel.
Past experience with insurance verification, authorization and working in a Physician Office / Physical therapy / DME company will be preferred.
OPIE software experience preferred (not mandatory).
