About Kary Dental
We are a growing, independently owned dental practice in Bethesda, MD. We are building a different kind of dental office—small, highly skilled, technologically advanced, and focused on providing exceptional patient experience.
Dr. Andrew Kary is a general dentist with advanced oral surgery training, a mechanical engineering background, and Army Dental Corps experience. The practice provides comprehensive dentistry as well as advanced procedures including dental implants, wisdom teeth, sedation dentistry, same-day restorations, zirconia milling, digital dentistry, and 3D printing.
We are privately owned. There are no outside investors, corporate quotas, or pressure to overtreat. Our priorities are clinical excellence, honest communication, efficiency, and doing what is right for the patient.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Part-time Patient Care Coordinator who also has dental assisting experience and is comfortable working in a dual front-office/clinical role. This is not a traditional receptionist position—and it is not strictly a dental assisting position. Because we are a small growing practice, everyone contributes. You are an important part of the patient’s entire experience. Some days you may spend most of your time coordinating patients and working up front. Other days you may help turn over a room, take radiographs, assist with a procedure, scan a patient, or help keep the clinical schedule moving. Fridays: 8-6, Saturdays: 8-5. Additional hours will be available as the practice grows.
The ideal candidate has:
· Front-office, scheduling, treatment coordination, or patient care coordination experience.
· Understanding of dental insurance, including PPO plans, eligibility, benefits, claims, EOBs, deductibles, maximums, and frequency limitations.
· Excellent phone and interpersonal communication skills.
· Confidence discussing treatment costs and collecting payment.
· The ability to move comfortably between administrative and clinical responsibilities.
· A willingness to jump in wherever needed.
· Current x-ray certification.
· Willingness to take ownership.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
License/Certification:
MD Radiology Certification (Preferred)
