Job Description
Looking for a professional, energetic expanded function dental assistant for our private general practice in Lexington, Ky. Needed Monday through Thursday and occasional Friday's.
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures - class I to IV fillings, temporary crowns, coronal polishing, sealants
Full mouth x-rays and digital scanning.
In office Cerec and PrimePrint
Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
Take digital radiographs (Dexis)
Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, provide patients with instructions for oral care, etc..
We utilize Dentrix software and Trios scanner- willing to training
Qualifications:
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Spanish Speaking is a plus
EDDA certification and CPR certified
