Dental Assistant
Beachside Dental – New Practice - Opening October 2026
Location: Sarasota, FL
Position Type: Part-Time to Full-Time
This position will begin at 3 days per week (Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM) while the practice grows. As the practice develops, the schedule will transition to 4 days per week.

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated, friendly, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our founding team. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the culture and systems of a brand-new practice while delivering outstanding patient experiences.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during general, cosmetic, and restorative procedures
Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos
Sterilize instruments and follow all infection control protocols
Provide excellent chairside support and patient education
Manage room turnover efficiently and assist with clinical flow
Support front office or administrative tasks as needed during opening phase
Qualifications
Dental Assistant certification (state requirements apply)
X-ray certification required
Experience with Nomad handheld x-ray device preferred
Prior dental assisting experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome
Experience with Open Dental software preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, calm demeanor with a patient-first mindset
Ability to adapt in a start-up environment and work as part of a team
