Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our endodontic specialty office. The ideal candidate has dental assisting experience, strong organizational skills, and a team-oriented attitude.
Responsibilities
Assist the endodontist with root canals, apicoectomies, and other endodontic procedures.
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment.
Take digital X-rays, CBCT scans, and intraoral images.
Document patient information and treatment notes in TDO software.
Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control guidelines.
Sterilize instruments and maintain clean, organized treatment rooms.
Restock supplies and assist with weekly office cleaning.
Provide patients with post-operative instructions and support.
Qualifications
2–3 years of dental assisting experience preferred.
Endodontic experience is a plus.
Familiarity with dental X-rays, CBCT imaging, and TDO software preferred.
Knowledge of dental terminology, sterilization, and infection control.
Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
Reliable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
