Endodontic Dental Assistant

Endodontic Associates is a well-established endo practice focused on giving our patients quality treatment in a kind and caring atmosphere. Our strong matched candidate will possess dependability, maturity, punctuality, friendly and will have a great work ethic. We prefer at least 2yrs dental assisting experience.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the Endodontist during dental procedures anticipating the next step in treatment

- Prepare treatment rooms in a fast efficient manner
_ Anticipate office flow and prioritizing where to dedicate the next course of action

- Take and dental x-rays and CT scans to capture specific areas of the tooth

- Provide patient with post-operative care

- Perform a brief summary to the Endodontist about Patients symptoms

- Seat patients in treatment rooms in an efficient manner for optimal patient flow

- Run dental lab sterilization to keep instruments available for use

- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program

- Current certification in dental radiography

- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
