Job Summary
We are a 100% privately owned Specialty Dental Office with 2 locations, NOT A DSO! We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Endodontist to join our Periodontal/Endodontic Practice. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in root canal therapy and endodontic procedures, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. As an Endodontist, you will be responsible for diagnosing complex dental conditions, performing advanced endodontic treatments, and collaborating with general dentists and specialists to ensure optimal oral health outcomes. This role offers an opportunity to utilize advanced dental technology within a supportive clinical environment dedicated to excellence and patient satisfaction.
Duties
Perform comprehensive diagnosis of dental and oral conditions using medical imaging, dental terminology, and patient assessment techniques.
Conduct root canal therapy, endodontic retreatments, apicoectomies, and other specialized procedures with precision and aseptic technique.
Utilize dental fabrication tools and equipment to restore teeth post-treatment, ensuring functional and aesthetic results.
Maintain accurate medical records and document all procedures in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
Educate patients on treatment options, procedural steps, post-operative care, and oral health best practices through clear client communication.
Collaborate effectively with general dentists, orthodontists, prosthodontists, and other specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
Adhere strictly to infection control protocols, including sterilization procedures and medical documentation standards.
Stay current with advancements in endodontics, dental implants, oral surgery techniques, and related fields through ongoing professional development.
Experience
Proven experience in dental office environments or dental clinics specializing in endodontics or general dentistry.
Demonstrated proficiency with electronic health record systems such as Epic or Eaglesoft for accurate documentation.
Extensive knowledge of anatomy relevant to oral surgery, dental implants, pediatric dentistry, and infection control practices.
Familiarity with dental software platforms like Dentrix for scheduling, billing, and patient management.
Strong background in medical terminology, healthcare diagnosis processes, and medical imaging interpretation.
Experience performing complex dental extractions, prosthodontics procedures, orthodontics consultations, and pediatric dentistry treatments is desirable.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care while adhering to HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws.
