Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Endodontist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will focus on diagnosing and treating complex root canal cases, providing exceptional patient care, and ensuring the highest standards of infection control and aseptic technique. Your expertise will help alleviate pain, save natural teeth, and improve overall oral health outcomes. Responsibilities
Perform root canal therapy and other endodontic procedures with precision and care, utilizing advanced dental imaging and dental fabrication techniques.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review and diagnosis using dental terminology and healthcare diagnosis principles.
Collaborate with general dentists, pediatric dentists, oral surgeons, and other specialists to develop integrated treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
Maintain accurate medical records and document all procedures in compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws.
Implement infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures to ensure patient safety during all treatments.
Utilize dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes.
Educate patients on endodontic procedures, post-treatment care, and preventive measures to promote long-term oral health.
Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state licensure to practice dentistry with specialization in endodontics.
Proven experience in performing root canal therapy, dental extractions, and other endodontic procedures within a clinical setting.
Proficiency in dental imaging techniques, including radiography interpretation and anatomy knowledge relevant to endodontics.
Strong understanding of medical terminology, healthcare diagnosis processes, and medical documentation standards.
Familiarity with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix; experience with dental fabrication is a plus.
Knowledge of infection control practices, aseptic technique, HIPAA compliance, and state healthcare regulations.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate treatment options clearly.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment practicing four-handed dentistry alongside team members specializing in pediatric dentistry or oral surgery.
