About Us
Prostho Endo Dental Group (PEDG) is a specialty dental practice group with offices in Rockville and North Bethesda, MD and Vienna, VA. Our three practices, work side by side to give patients coordinated, high-quality specialty care. We are a collaborative team that values clinical excellence, clear communication, and a great patient experience.
Position Overview
PEDG is looking for a skilled and compassionate endodontist to join our Rockville office one day per week, every Friday. This is a great fit for a specialist looking for a consistent weekly schedule with a well-supported team and an established referral base.
Schedule
Every Friday (standard office hours; 8:30am to 5:00pm)
Location: Rockville, MD office
Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat endodontic conditions, including non-surgical root canal therapy, retreatment, and surgical procedures as appropriate
Perform emergency and urgent endodontic care
Communicate clearly with patients, referring dentists, and our prosthodontic team
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Follow practice protocols, infection control standards, and compliance requirements
Qualifications
DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
Certificate in Endodontics from a CODA-accredited residency program
Active Maryland dental license (or eligible for licensure), with Maryland specialty licensure as required
Active DEA registration and professional liability coverage
Proficiency with rotary instrumentation, CBCT, and operating microscope preferred
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care
