Responsibilities
Perform root canal therapy and other endodontic procedures with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring optimal patient outcomes
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop effective treatment plans
Utilize advanced dental imaging techniques to diagnose endodontic conditions accurately
Collaborate closely with general dentists, specialists, and support staff to coordinate patient care and treatment strategies
Maintain thorough and accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations
Adhere to infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures to ensure patient safety
Educate patients about their dental health, treatment options, and post-procedure care to foster understanding and trust
Qualifications
Valid license to practice dentistry with specialized certification or training in endodontics
Proven experience performing root canal therapy, dental diagnosis, and related procedures in a clinical setting
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical imaging, and infection control standards
Experience working in a fast-paced dental office environment with familiarity in four-handed dentistry techniques
Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, ensuring comfort and clarity during treatments
Knowledge of healthcare diagnosis, medical terminology, dental implants, oral surgery, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and pediatric dentistry is preferred
