Endodontist –– St Petersburg, FL
A growing dental practice is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Endodontist to provide specialized endodontic care in a modern, collaborative clinical environment. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality treatment while building trusted relationships with patients and supporting the continued success of the practice.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and diagnose conditions affecting the dental pulp and surrounding tissues
Develop individualized treatment plans and explain treatment options to patients
Perform endodontic procedures, including root canal therapy and retreatment procedures
Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and imaging technology to support treatment planning and delivery
Monitor patient progress and provide appropriate follow-up care
Educate patients on treatment recommendations, preventive care, and post-procedure instructions
Maintain accurate and complete patient records and treatment documentation
Collaborate with general dentists and clinical support staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care
Promote a comfortable, compassionate, and patient-centered environment
Adhere to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards of dental practice
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
Completion of an accredited endodontic residency program
Current dental license or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and treatment outcomes
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative practice environment
