Responsibilities
Perform root canal therapy and other endodontic procedures with precision and attention to detail
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop effective treatment plans
Utilize advanced dental imaging techniques to diagnose complex cases accurately
Collaborate with general dentists to coordinate patient care and treatment strategies
Maintain thorough medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations
Adhere to infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety
Educate patients on their diagnosis, treatment options, and post-procedure care to foster informed decision-making
Manage dental laboratory procedures such as dental fabrication when necessary for restorative treatments
Stay current with industry best practices by participating in ongoing professional development
Experience
Proven experience in endodontics, including performing root canal therapy and related procedures
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to oral health
Familiarity with dental practice management software Open Dental
Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with a focus on patient care excellence
Knowledge of infection control standards and sterilization procedures within a healthcare setting
