Responsibilities
Perform root canal therapy and other endodontic procedures with precision and care, utilizing advanced dental technology and techniques
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop effective treatment plans
Diagnose dental conditions accurately using medical imaging, dental terminology, and clinical examination methods
Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless treatment experiences
Maintain detailed medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations
Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures
Educate patients on their dental health, treatment options, post-procedure care, and preventive practices
Requirements
Valid state licensure as a licensed Endodontist or eligibility for licensure in our location
Proven experience in performing root canal therapy, endodontic diagnosis, and related procedures
Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix
Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical imaging, infection control, and dental fabrication techniques
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members while demonstrating empathy and professionalism
Familiarity with four-handed dentistry practices to optimize efficiency during procedures
Experience working in a dental clinic or healthcare setting with a focus on patient care excellence
Preferred qualifications include expertise in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, implantology, prosthodontics, orthodontics, or general dentistry. Knowledge of anesthesia administration for pain management is also advantageous.
