Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and bilingual (English-Korean) Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, familiarity with dental office procedures, strong typing skills in both English and Korean, and the ability to navigate electronic medical records systems. Prior experience in dental office environments is highly preferred. The successful candidate will contribute to a welcoming environment and ensure smooth daily operations of the front desk. Compensation will depend on experience level.
Duties
Greet patients warmly in both English and Korean, ensuring a positive first impression
Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and relay messages
Verify patient insurance information and update electronic medical records accurately using systems.
Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, including collecting payments and scheduling follow-up appointments
Maintain organized patient files and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
Coordinate with dental staff to facilitate patient flow and appointment scheduling
Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, faxing, emailing, and managing office supplies
Ensure the front desk area remains tidy and professional at all times
Skills
Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is required
Experience with dental office management software such as Cleardent or Dentrix is highly desirable.
Knowledge of dental terminology
Prior experience as a dental receptionist preferred
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Professional demeanor with a friendly attitude that promotes patient comfort and trust
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
