Key Responsibilities
Digital crown and bridge impressions
Full and partial denture impressions and adjustments
Making temporary crowns
Comfortable in doing composite fillings
Assisting in dental procedures such as extractions and root canal procedures
Polishing teeth
Taking digital X-rays as needed
Chairside assist during implant placement, implant restoration, veneer preparation, veneer seating, and other advanced restorative and cosmetic procedures
Fabricate, adjust, and cement temporary restorations within the scope of EDDA certification
Educate patients on pre- and post-operative care for implants, veneers, and restorative procedures
Comfortable with making digital crowns
Qualifications
Experience:
Completion of an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) training program preferred.
Current CPR/BLS certification required.
Qualified to perform dental radiography in Colorado; DANB Radiation Health and Safety (RHS) certification preferred.
Strong communication and patient service skills.
Experience with Open Dental software preferred.
Ability to assist with restorative procedures, impressions, temporary crowns, sealants, and other expanded duties as permitted by Colorado regulations.
Previous dental assisting experience preferred but not required.
