Expanded Duty Dental Assistant

Growing family dental practice seeking a skilled Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable assisting with a variety of clinical procedures and helping provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Chairside assisting during dental procedures
Taking high-quality digital dental radiographs
Placing, contouring, and polishing composite restorations as permitted under Kentucky EDDA regulations
Sterilization and infection control
Operatory setup and breakdown
Assisting with patient education and treatment coordination
Qualifications:
Current X-ray certification required
Experience placing composite restorations preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Reliable, positive, and team-oriented attitude
Coronal polishing certification a plus but no needed.

Dentrix or Open Dental familiarity a plus.
