Job Purpose
To provide advanced dental assistance to dentists, lead and mentor junior dental assistants, and exemplify Familia Dental's culture, mission, and values. This position requires extensive experience and advanced certifications.

Responsibilities
Perform all duties of Dental Assistant 1 and 2 with advanced proficiency
Lead and mentor junior dental assistants, providing guidance and training
Assist in complex dental procedures and oral surgeries
Manage inventory and equipment maintenance for the dental office
Perform advanced dental assisting duties as allowed by state regulations, including:
Placing and finishing composite restorations
Performing coronal polishing
Taking final impressions for crown and bridge
Assist in maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements
Participate in continuing education to stay current with industry advancements
Requirements:
Qualifications/Skill Sets
Expert-level knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
Advanced proficiency in dental software and technology
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Superior communication skills with patients and team members
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
In-depth understanding of dental insurance and billing procedures
Proficiency in infection control and sterilization techniques
Ability to adapt to new technologies and procedures quickly
Strong organizational and time management skills
Expertise in expanded function dental assisting procedures

Physical Requirements:
Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods
Ability to bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 pounds

Availability / Schedule
Working hours between: M-F, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Sat, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Full time employment:
4+ days a week, 30-40 hours per week
available to work Saturdays, when needed
Full Shifts (8-10 hours)
