Job Description
By Design Dental Implant Center is looking for a full-time EFDA who wants to work at the top of their license inside one of the busiest full-arch implant practices in the region. If you're ready to leave general dentistry behind and specialize in All-on-X, single-tooth implants, and full-mouth rehabilitation, this is your seat.
About the Practice
By Design Dental Implant Center a high-volume, fee-for-service full-arch implant practice specializing exclusively in All-on-X, single-tooth implants, and full-mouth rehabilitation — this is not a general dentistry practice. We've completed over 1,000 full-arch cases and run a fully in-house digital lab, including 3D printing of prosthetic restorations. Our team moves fast, works precisely, and takes real ownership of complex cases from start to finish.
What You'll Do
Remove and seat full-arch temporaries
Perform bite adjustments under provider supervision, within PA EFDA scope
Acquire CT scans on our i-CAT unit
Take intraoral scans for prosthetic records and digital workflows
Support the full prosthetic workflow — impressions, try-ins, and delivery appointments
Assist with in-house 3D printing of provisional restorations (we'll train you on this)
Keep clinical flow moving on both implant and prosthetic cases
What You Need
Active PA EFDA certification — this is non-negotiable
Full-time availability
Strong chairside manner, and the ability to stay sharp in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Nice to Have (We'll Train the Right Person)
Prior experience in an implant, oral surgery, or prosthetic-focused practice
Familiarity with CBCT scanning (we run i-CAT)
Experience with intraoral scanners — iTero, Medit, 3Shape, or similar
Exposure to digital lab or 3D printing workflows
THIS ROLE ISN'T A FIT IF…
You don't currently hold an active PA EFDA certification
Your background is general dentistry only, with no interest in surgical or implant work
You're looking for a low-volume or traditional dental office pace
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
