EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary)
Kent Station Family Dentistry is a growing, technology-forward general practice in the heart of Kent. We're expanding our clinical team and looking for a licensed EFDA who wants to work at the top of their license—not the bottom of it.
Why This Role Exists
This isn't a fill-a-chair position. You'll work directly alongside our owner doctor as her right hand, taking on expanded-function procedures that free up doctor chair time and keep our restorative and Invisalign columns moving. What You'll Do
Place and finish restorations following doctor preparation, within the Washington State EFDA scope of practice.
Run our Invisalign column, including:
Attachment placement and removal
IPR (Interproximal Reduction)
Aligner appointments
Capture digital scans using our iTero scanner for Invisalign and restorative cases.
Provide chairside assistance during doctor procedures as part of the clinical workflow.
Support case efficiency so treatment stays on schedule and patients stay on track.
Must-Haves
Active Washington State EFDA license in good standing.
Hands-on experience with Invisalign attachment placement/removal and IPR.
Experience with digital scanning (iTero strongly preferred).
Demonstrated experience placing and finishing restorations.
Current BLS/CPR certification.
A fast learner with technology who is comfortable moving between expanded functions and chairside assisting as the day requires.

Schedule and Compensation
Full-time / Part-time
Days and hours: Monday ~Thursday (8am~5pm)
Pay Range: $35~$40 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated skills.
