Butler Dental Group is seeking a caring and professional Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our friendly, patient-centered team in our small-town dental practice in Butler, Indiana. Schedule: Part-Time | 2 or 3 days per week (Monday – Thursday) | (16 – 24 hours per week)

Your Role:
Assist the dentist chairside with typical general dentistry procedures
Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked operatories
Restorative, oral surgery, and prosthodontic procedures are most common
Place and adjust composite restorations as well as fabricate temporary crowns
Take digital radiographs
Take alginate impressions and pour and trim models
Contribute to sterilization and maintain infection control protocols
Work closely with doctor, hygienists, and the front office team
What We’re Looking For:
Self motivated team member who takes initiative and can multitask
EFDA Certification is a must
Valid X-ray certification
Valid CPR certification
1+ year of clinical expanded functions experience preferred
Experience with digital x-rays and digital practice software
Knowledge of HIPAA, sterilizing techniques, OHSA, and dental anatomy
Friendly, professional demeanor with a genuine passion for patient care
Team player who values a respectful workplace
Ability to Commute to Butler, IN 46721 (Required)
