What You'll Do
As an EFDA, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care while helping our doctors provide comprehensive, high-quality dentistry.
Responsibilities include:
Perform expanded functions in accordance with Ohio regulations.
Deliver outstanding chairside assistance during restorative procedures.
Place restorative materials with precision and attention to detail.
Capture digital radiographs, intraoral photographs, and digital scans.
Assist with CAD/CAM design, laboratory workflows, and fabrication of dental appliances.
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for efficient patient care.
Maintain sterilization and infection control standards.
Educate patients about their treatment and help them feel comfortable and confident.
Anticipate the needs of the doctor while ensuring every patient receives an exceptional experience.
Work collaboratively with doctors, hygienists, and the administrative team to provide seamless care.

Qualifications
Ohio Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) Certification (Required)
Ohio Radiographer/X-Ray Certification (Required)
Current CPR Certification (Required)
Minimum of two years of dental assisting experience preferred
Experience with digital dentistry, intraoral scanning, CAD/CAM workflows, and laboratory procedures is a plus
Schedule
Full-time, approximately 32-37 hours per week.
Monday through Thursday with occasional Friday mornings.
