Full-Time Dental Assistant
Westchase – Tampa, Florida

Happy Smiles – Westchase is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join Dr. Mamata Ponnaganti and our team in Westchase. We are a patient-centered practice that values clinical excellence, a well-run schedule, and a supportive, team-first work environment.

What You'll Do
Prepare and turn over operatories; set up instruments and materials for each procedure
Provide four-handed chairside assistance for restorative, endodontic, prosthetic, and other procedures
Take digital radiographs, intraoral photos, and scans
Follow OSHA and CDC infection-control and sterilization protocols
Fabricate temporaries and perform other duties permitted under Florida regulations
Educate patients on post-op care and help them understand recommended treatment
Document treatment accurately in [practice management software]
Position Details
Schedule: Full-time, [4 days per week —Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM]
Compensation: $[21]–$[28] per hour, based on experience

Qualifications
Florida dental radiography certification (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification
Florida Expanded Functions (EFDA) certification (preferred)
1+ year of chairside dental assisting experience preferred
Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to patient care
Recent dental assisting program graduates are encouraged to apply
