Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) – Implant & Restorative Dentistry
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 5 Days Per Week
Pay: Starting at $27 per hour, DOE

Are you an experienced Pennsylvania Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) looking to grow your career in advanced restorative implant dentistry? This is an excellent opportunity for an EFDA who enjoys restorative dentistry, digital workflows, and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What You'll Do
Perform Expanded Function Dental Assistant duties in accordance with Pennsylvania regulations
Assist with restorative implant procedures and full-arch (AOX) cases
Place, contour, and finish restorations
Take digital impressions, radiographs, and intraoral scans
Support digital workflows and restorative treatment planning
Prepare treatment rooms and maintain sterilization protocols
Educate patients on treatment and post-operative care
Maintain OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control compliance
Qualifications
Current Pennsylvania EFDA Certification (Required)
Pennsylvania X-Ray Certification
Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience
Restorative dentistry experience required
Implant dentistry experience preferred
Experience with digital workflows; iCAM experience is a strong plus
Strong communication skills and commitment to exceptional patient care
