Dental Assistant – General Dentistry

Key Responsibilities
Assist dentists during a variety of procedures, including fillings, crowns, root canals, extractions, implants, and other general dentistry treatments.
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before patient appointments.
Take digital dental radiographs and intraoral scans as permitted by applicable regulations.
Maintain proper sterilization, infection control, and OSHA safety protocols.
Educate patients on dental procedures, oral hygiene, and postoperative care.
Ensure patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visits.
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
Monitor inventory and assist with ordering dental supplies.
Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient clinical environment.
Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, and administrative staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Assist with other office responsibilities as needed to support the team.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous dental assisting experience.
Familiarity with dental instruments, terminology, and procedures.
Experience with digital radiographs, intraoral scanning, and dental practice management software.
Experience assisting with endodontics, oral surgery, or dental implants is a plus.
